Bleaching some of my photographs from my trip to China. Helping me understand better my essay subject Curtis Mann and also my current project.
This image was taken at the sight of the Great Buddha of Leshan. The long-winded stairs that lead to the base of the statue were perilous for my long clumsy legs. So looking at it again i thought it would be fun to play on that and create a bleached void at the bottom.
The umbrella is coated in varnish to resist the bleach. Overall I’m happy with this one. As a test or a potential part of my final piece. If you like it/don’t let me know.
Taken on FujiColor Superia 400. Canon A1. For my Fear/Anxiety project.
The idea is simply, you can never understand what fears people live with everyday without getting to know someone. It’s also an exploration of people confronting there fears. And lastly, understanding the difference/similarities between fear and anxiety.
